1) The edging of the lawn along the asphalt. This is one of the most important steps, as most damage starts at the edges. This area needs to be coated the thickest.

2) We remove all dirt and debris from the asphalt surface. This is done with power blowers, scrapers, and wire brushes.

3) We treat all fresh oil and other petroleum stains by sealing with primer. This will ensure the sealer bonds with the asphalt.

4) Any large cracks (1/4" or greater) are filled with industrial grade crack filler. This is to ensure that the asphalt has a nice solid appearance, as well as avoid the crack growing larger.

5) Before spraying begins, the sealer is applied by hand with brushes in areas where spraying cannot take place. This assures that no spray will get in or on other surfaces.

6)
After the asphalt is properly prepared, the certified professionals apply an asphalt-emulsion based sealer by spray or squeegee as necessary.
